Abstract

SISRE is a propagation calculation system for line-of-sight or near light-of sight radio-relay links at frequencies above 30 MHz and below 50 GHz, based on the algorithm of a software package for IBM-compatible microcomputers. The system is divided into two main parts: calculations of radio profiles, and performance calculations for radio-relay systems (analogue or digital). The system is a development of the general theory of radio-relay link calculation, starting from electromagnetic theory which constitutes its scientific basis. The system is validated, for each parameter and calculation method, by its implementation conditions.
